Crema de Fruta

Ingredients

CUSTARD

  • 4 egg yolks
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • ⅓ cup cornstarch
  • 2 cups fresh milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla

CHIFFON

  • 2 cups cake flour, sifted
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • 6 egg yolks
  • ⅓ cup evap
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 ½ tsp vanilla

Meringue:

  • 6 egg whites
  • ½ tsp cream of tartar
  • ⅓ cup sugar

Procedure

  1. Pour in a 10×10 square pan, greased and lined with parchment
    and bake in a preheated oven at 170C for 25 minutes or until cake springs back when pressed.
  2. GULAMAN
    4 cups water
    1 cup fruit cocktail juice
    ¾ cup sugar
    1 pack (25g) Mr. Hat Gulaman White unflavored
    Fruit cocktail, drained (separate the cherries for decoration)
