Relish Kimchi Jjigae


1 tablespoon oil
1 white onion
3 cloves garlic
8 ounces pork belly or any meat you prefer
2 cups kimchi
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon gochujang
3 cups beef stock (optional)
6 oz tofu
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Chopped scallion or green onions


1. In a pot, saute onion and garlic, and then add in the pork, and cook for about 5 minutes or until
the pork is cooked.
2. Add in kimchi and fry for 2 minutes. Then add the salt, sugar, gochujang, and broth or water
and cook for 10 minutes.
3. Add in tofu and simmer for another 8 minutes and then add in sesame oil and soaked 𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐇 𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐌𝐈𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐈.
4. Garnish with chopped green onions
